Q.Better Hyacinth Blossoms

Anonymous added on April 13, 2011 | Answered

My hyacinths blossom reliably every year. I fertilize as recommended, but the blossoms tend to be small in diameter and not very full. How do I improve the size of them?

Hyacinth can sometimes be difficult to get to bloom from year to year. Try adding some bone meal to their soil to add phosphorous, which they need for blooming and make sure that their leaves are left on until they turn yellow as this is how they get energy to bloom for next year.
