I have two umbrella plants and two croton plants on my front porch, which is covered. They do really well there. My question is, do I need to bring them for the winter?
Unless this porch is heated or temps remain above 50 degrees F. over winter, then yes, you will need to bring these plants indoors.
I have a sm. 6x8 unheated greenhouse. Is there still enough time to take cuttings on my houseplants and establish roots before I have to bring them in for the winter? The plants in question are: spider plant string of beads strawberry begonia rhipsalis streptocarpella Thank you for any help or info.
All of the plants mentioned will not survive in below freezing temperatures.
You can certainly take cuttings from all of the plants, but you will need to do the propagating indoors in a warm location.

I have a wandering jew and spider plant in the same pot. Will they be ok together in same pot?
I don't see any reason they can't share a pot!

I have no more room in my garden window, but hate to part with my plants. I have a jade and another succulent on an end table with a florescent light on them and they are doing well. The end table has a large glass top. Would I be able to grow plants under the glass top on the bottom half of the end table? The light reflects directly down there. The plants that I'm thinking of putting there are another jade and a mini carissa. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
Yes, you can grow in such a location.
Remember glass is actually an insulator and will diffuse some of the light.
Can baby tear plant be used as a ground cover with a potted Ming aralia?
This plant combination should work quite well.
Here is growing information for both plants.

Do you have any cards with instructions on how to care for houseplants? I have a variety of houseplants and I'm looking for cards that have instructions for many different varieties.
We do not have information cards available.
You certainly can search by name the plants you have on our web site.
Just add the name to the search bar at the top of the page.
We have articles for most house plants that will give you care information.
I've re-potted some of my plants recently including Snake plant, Boston fern, Dieffenbachia, Cordyline, Rubber plant and ZZ. I have used only peat moss without any soil, compost or horticultural perlite. As a new gardener, I need advice. Will my plants die should I re-pot them or just leave them?
Peat Moss is often used in potting soil mixes but alone will not sustain most house plants.
I would suggest you purchase a good quality potting soil that is a premix for your house plants.
You can mix your own potting soil if you choose to.
