Q.Re-potting plants

Zone Duhok | Lily added on January 15, 2016 | Answered

I’ve re-potted some of my plants recently including Snake plant, Boston fern, Dieffenbachia, Cordyline, Rubber plant and ZZ. I have used only peat moss without any soil, compost or horticultural perlite. As a new gardener, I need advice. Will my plants die should I re-pot them or just leave them?

Peat Moss is often used in potting soil mixes but alone will not sustain most house plants.
I would suggest you purchase a good quality potting soil that is a premix for your house plants.
You can mix your own potting soil if you choose to.
