My STANDARD fuchsia plants are wintering in my shed. Do I need to prune back the branches in the Spring before putting them outside?
Yes. You will cut it back by half. You also need to water them once a month during winter.

I have a fuchsia (prince of orange) in a part sun spot, and I'm looking for some ideas for perennials to plant on either side of it. In research, I keep coming across ferns and hostas, but this spot has more sun than those two typically prefer, and I'd like something with flowers. I'd appreciate any ideas you may have. Thanks!
In this case, you may want to think about planting something that will shade your plant! Fuchsia will enjoy quite a bit of shade, so planting a small shrub, nearby, may be a good option. They seem to enjoy small conifers, so you may consider one for a shading companion. Really, as long as you choose something suitable for your zone, the Fuchsia will not be too picky. My fuchsia is woody, I haven’t really pruned it, it is about 2 feet high but has only really small buds appearing, nothing that looks to be strong new growth
You can drastically prune a fuchsia and it won't hurt it. This article should help:

Arrived from florist, large leaves with over powering tall stems and no flowers but a few pods on end of stems. How do I prune it back? I live in northeast Ohio
It is a type of fuchsia, which attracts hummingbirds. Let it bloom for a while first before cutting it back. You can pinch off the stems at the height needed.

My fuschia shrub should have variegated leaves, instead they are a maroon colour. What should I do?
Typically, this would be indicative of a phosphorus deficiency. My suspicion, however, is that the soil is either too moist or too high in nitrogen.

What am I doing wrong? My fuschia looks like it’s about Dead. I’ve only had it 2 weeks, watered it twice in that two weeks and it just keeps shriveling up and turning dark. Leaves are brittle and falling off. Is it salvageable? Can I plant outside and revive it?
Unfortunately, these plants can be a bit picky about the type of water that they receive. This, and they can be particular about watering habits, as well.

I had it in an area that only has direct sun for a couple hours before sunset, I thought the leaves were yellowing due to the direct sunlight so I moved it to an area on my back patio that never gets direct sun but it hasn't improved much. It's dropping most of it's leaves and they all look like the photos I've attached. I looked at it closely and I see some new leaves budding and it still has some flowers budding. The soil, I feel, is too wet currently (this wasn't always the case-- I watered it yesterday) so today I put something in the bottom of the container to help it drain better. What should I do?
Your photo did not come through, but I would suggest that you take off all of the dead material, trim your plant back a bit, rethink the drainage in your pot and fertilize the plant. Here's an article that outlines the best growing conditions:
