Arrived from florist, large leaves with over powering tall stems and no flowers but a few pods on end of stems. How do I prune it back? I live in northeast Ohio

It is a type of fuchsia, which attracts hummingbirds. Let it bloom for a while first before cutting it back. You can pinch off the stems at the height needed.
