I have an indoor cyclamen. Many of the leaves now have a sticky substance on them along with crystals. Very strange. Any ideas?
Both Aphids and Scale will excrete honeydew and leave a sticky substance behind.
Treat the plant with Neem Oil.

Should old blooms be removed as they begin to droop? Will newer blooms succeed them, or is this a dormancy" sign? Plant received as a gift with blossoms already past vibrant.
After a cyclamen blooms, it will go into a dormant state. Going into a dormant state looks very much like the plant is dying, as the leaves will turn yellow and fall off. It is not dead, just sleeping. With proper cyclamen plant care, you can help it through its dormancy and it will rebloom in a few months.
When taking care of a cyclamen after blooming, allow the leaves to die and stop watering the plant once you see the signs that the leaves are dying. Place the plant in a cool, somewhat dark place. You can remove any dead foliage, if you would like. Let sit for two months.

I have 2 different questions about 2 different plants. 1. I split one large corm that I thought was dead into two. Both have since produced large green leaves but no flowers. How can I get them to flower? 2. I have 2 plants from Aldi that are about 1 year old and are healthy, but they show no signs of dying back and still produce the occasional flower and the leaves, whilst green, are getting coarser in texture. I still water them.
A cool location is important to the health of a Cyclamen. A good trick is to enjoy the plant on a table during the day, away from direct sunlight and then tuck it into a cool room for the evening.

I've just taken on a neglected garden and one of the beds (Very.dry in full south sun) is stuffed with cyclamens, some of which are enormous. I began digging yesterday (late June) and have already filled a commercial bread tray with maybe 100 corms (tubers?) and I'm only half way through! Where and how should I replant as many of them as I can find space for?

Why do the leaves on my plant curl under? I have had the plant for over 20 years and each year its leaves curl.
This is generally the signal that you should stop watering the plant and let the plant go dormant for a period, usually following it's blooming period.

When the blossoms die on the plant, do you just pick the petals off or do you snap off the stem from the bottom of the plant?
It is best to remove the entire flower stem after is has faded.
Gently snip out the stem with a small garden scissors or a knife.

I had a cyclamen with large flowers and ruffled leaves. What is it called and if you know, where can I get another one?
There are about 20 species within the genus of Cyclamen.
