I bought a cyclamen to keep indoors and I don't know if it's the tropical or hardy kind. It didn't come with a care label. The blooms are droopy and leaves have turned yellow because I forgot to water it. Is there any way to save it? what should I do to have the plant come back? Should I repot it now or wait until it recovers/comes back?
You most likely purchased a tropical Cyclamen for an indoor location.
Cyclamen do like a cool temperature and sometimes the indoor temperatures are to much for the plant.
Yellowing leaves can indicate watering issues, to much or to little.
The soil should be damp but not soggy. You should not water into the crown of the plant as this can cause the plant crown to rot.
Remove the spent flowers to encourage more blooms.
Do not repot the plant.

My cyclamen plant has been blooming nicely, before I brought it in from the covered porch in October, and continuing now BUT the flowers are pinched, squeezed, not as open as they were outside in summer and early fall. I received the plant in the summer and it kept getting flowers all along. I have only watered it I have never given it any fertilizer. Would this or another be the reason for not having 'full furled flowers'? Sorry, I can't do photos.
It may be to warm for the plant indoors. Cyclamen need cool temperatures.

My potted plant has plenty of flowers and I check the soil daily but some of the leaves are yellowing and droopy.
A cool location is important to the health of a Cyclamen. A good trick is to enjoy the plant on a table during the day, away from direct sunlight and then tuck it into a cool room for the evening.

I have a number of cyclamen growing from seed but find no information about getting them to the tuber stage. The plants look good - a little stringy, but healthy. Please help. Robert D McCallum 7101 Edinburgh Court Tulsa OK 74132-2124
It can take up to 2 years for a tuber to form of any significant size.

What part of plant does the seed come from?
The seeds will form at the base of where the flower grew.

How can you tell if a cyclamen is completely ruined? I think my daughter may have overwatered both of them.
I'm sorry to say your Cyclamen looks to have died.
Watering of this plant should only be when the soil has dried out and care should be taken to water around the edges and not directly into the crown of the plant.
Too much water can lead to root rot.
Cyclamen also need a cool growing environment.

i took cyclmen out of pot ,let it dry out in a cool dark basement. how do i replant it indoor in kitchen window
Choose a pot that is the correct size to the tuber. You should be able to spread out the roots a bit. Plan for 4 inches of soil below the tuber and 1 inch of soil on top.
Use a good quality potting soil mix.
Make sure you plant the tuber with the top side up. The top is usually rough, bumpy or has small nodules. The bottom is round and smooth.
Keep soil moist by water from below. Do not water down the center of the pot, as the tuber will rot.
Keep in a bright and cool location.
