Our flowering cherry is looking sad. We had it professionally pruned last year, he said it looked healthy then. This year there are lots of dead leaves next to green healthy ones. We live in the Seattle area and had a very soggy winter and spring.
This looks like Cherry Leaf Spot fungus.

WILL STREAMERS ON BRANCHES SCARE OFF BIRDS FROM EATING BITS OF CHERRIES?
Sometimes it takes trial and error when we are faced with garden issues!
Streamer may work if it's breezy. My grandmother hung aluminum pie plates in her trees!
Here is an article with some other suggestions.

cannot seem to find out what is causing this.
This may be a fungal disease or insects. Either way neem oil could help.

Hello, I have a concern about sour cherry trees. It is possible to graft them with normal cherry? I have a sour cherry tree that makes normal sour cherries(I do not know the type) and I want to graft into it some types of cheery. I heard that it may not be possible and I want to know exactly. Thank you! Marian
My cherry tree has some fruit but the leaves at the end of the branches are turning yellow , what can you suggest I do
Yellowing leaves can indicate watering issues; too much or too little, pests, disease and nutrient issues.
Inspect the leaves for any signs of pests, they can be small. Are there markings on the leaves? Is the weather dry, lack of rainfall? Poorly drained soil can cause root rot in a Cherry Tree.

I have black bugs eating the leaves. what should i do
I would recommend treating the plant with neem oil. It is organic and safe for people, pets and beneficial bugs. Here is more information:
