I planted several canna plants in my FLORIDA garden. Do I need to dig them up and store them or can I just leave them in the ground?
Yes, you can leave your Canna in the ground in Florida, but it is best to dig up and thin the beds every couple of years.

My canna lily's leaves are getting holes in them, like something is eating them.
If the holes are near the base of the plants, Slugs may be the issue.
Caterpillars can also enjoy eating your Canna leaves.
Here are some links with information on these pests.

Does the canna bloom when the plant is at full height?
Canna Lily's may not flower their first year, or have less flowers.
Canna's need full sunshine and a good and moist soil. They can be fertilized monthly with a high phosphorous formula.

Can I plant canna seeds at this time of year? I live in Southern Spain.
It all depends on what the avergage temperatures are in your area. Canna seeds are a bit picky about how they get started: They need to germinate in 21-24 C. (70-75 degrees F.).
If you have enough of a growing season left to allow them time to mature, then go ahead and plant them once they've germinated, otherwise saver them for next spring.

My son bought me a dwarf canna lily which is apparently thriving in a pot. There is plenty of new foliage but I have noticed 'strawberry' like growths.
Thank you very much. I will do as you suggest and wait and see!
Thank you also for the articles.

This almost looks like a seed pod, which normally don't appear until after the flowers are spent...
If it were me, I'd leave it alone & see if it will "fix" itself.

I have strawberry like growths on my canna lily. Does anyone know whether this is normal or is it a problem? I included 2 photos to show the plant and the growths. Thank you
It looks like your photos didn't come through, but we've had this same question from another visitor as well. They looked (in other photos) almost like seed pods however in those photos the plant hadn't bloomed yet, and usually the seed pods don't develop until after the flower is spent.
It would probably be best to leave it be so as to not risk injuring the plant or opening it up to be susceptible to disease.
