nly May and they shouldn’t be going into dormancy yet? Are the plants in shock or do they need something else. I live in Dallas and the weather has been cool but warming into the 80s. The flowers have had a good amount of water, whT I’m I doing wrong?
Yes, this is to be expected. You can avoid some of the shock by making sure not to disturb the roots in any way.
While the plant is in bloom, any disturbance to the root zone will usually result in a loss of blooms. This is to re-route energy to develop new roots and repair injured roots.
Other than that- The plant looks healthy.

My plant has died (I think) the leaves have turned yellow and limp and no new growth is present, I purchased the plant 6 mo ago and it is an indoor plant with moderate sunlight and I water when the soil has started to dry out ( I stick my finger in the soil about an inch to see if is moist). A friend said it needed love, but I have not got a clue what she means.

bs had already started to sprout. After the frost they shrunk back. O a different one has started to sprout again. Are the others in danger of never sprouting? And if so,does that mean they won't sprout for next year either? What is p h of the ground
Calla lily produces beautiful flowers. It likes warm weather and soil as you have discovered. With a cool spring in some parts of the US, soil doesn't warm up and the bulbs languish. Now that it is warmer, the tubers will probably poke through soon. A tuber the size of a golf ball may have spent its energy in sending up the initial leaves when frost hit. A larger tuber has enough stored energy to send up more leaves. Tubers should be set just under the soil. Calla lilies require soil that is kept moist.
