I plan to cultivate Anthuriums and would like to find out how long it takes for them to flower and to get to about 30 cm? Basically, I would like to know the period from planting (seeds) to selling.
Seeds should germinate in 5 to 7 days.
It can take 3 to 5 years to reach flowering size, though you may get a few flowers sooner.
I have quite a few anthuriums. They are different colors. It may just be my imagination but it seems that a lot of them are blooming white. I do have some pink ones that are blooming pink, but puzzled about all the ones that are white. I do know that I had some red ones that are not blooming red now. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
High temperatures can cause the bloom color to fade or wash out. Although it doesn’t occur often, if the pH is high, bloom color can become lighter too. Anthuriums perform best in soil with a pH around 5.5. For additional possibilities, this article may help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/fixing-color-faded-flowers.htm
It is now in a 6" pot and the foliage is 12-14" high. Flowering when bought, about 4 months ago. Seems healthy with glossy foliage.
When the plant is done blooming you can repot if you feel it is to root bound.
Only go up 1 pot size so that the plant does not suffer from root rot.

My friend found an Anthurium scherzerianum in trash and repotted it. I am trying to save it...pics attached. It has roots. Are the brown leaf stems on stalk root rot? If so, how do I go about this task? Reno, Nevada with night temps are 20-45, days run 35-65. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
The brown papery parts are the remains of leaves that were once on the plant.
It appears the plant had become leggy, likely due to poor light conditions.

Why do my anthurium leaves keep yellowing and dying when watering and feeding are carried out as recommended and temp is within limits?
Yellow leaves can be caused by a number of things. Typically in houseplants, it is either underwatering or overwatering. Water when the top of the soil feels dry, but to do let the soil dry out all the way. It could also be developing a fungus (which neem oil can help with).

Why are some of the flowers that are yellow turning brown on my houseplant Anthurium?
It is possible that you have thrips. They are hard to see and they cause damage to the buds like that. They can attack the base of the flowers and kill them before they open. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/controlling-thrips.htm
Can anthurium be cut back?
You can prune your Anthurium at any time of year.
Use sterile garden tools to make cuts.
Remove any damaged or yellowing leaves.
You can then remove all but 4 or 5 of the healthiest leaves to the base of their stems.
