Q.how long does anthurium take from seed to flowering

Zone I am in South Africa, but it will be done in a Green house. | missygreenfingers added on September 4, 2015 | Answered

I plan to cultivate Anthuriums and would like to find out how long it takes for them to flower and to get to about 30 cm? Basically, I would like to know the period from planting (seeds) to selling.

Seeds should germinate in 5 to 7 days.
It can take 3 to 5 years to reach flowering size, though you may get a few flowers sooner.
