Hi, I re- potted my Yucca plant a few weeks ago as it was touching the ceiling, I cut the stem down as picture, it's been shedding its lower stalks and have removed 3 or 4 so far, I water twice a week and it's always moist, is this the plant trying to adjust or the start of something else?
Yucca are not propagated like other plants. They need to dry and callus before planting in soil, or the rooting end will rot.

I have a yucca plant that is about 70cm tall but is only approx. 5cm diameter at the base of the stalk. It is all leaves and keeps growing upwards but the stem doesn't thicken up. It is in danger of falling over soon!
Does it get full sun? Usually that happens when a plant is reaching for light. If it is indoors try moving it near a sunnier window. Before it falls over, you can cut it in half and propagate the top part.
Review these cultural conditions and see if they are being met:
I so want a starter off a yucca plant that has the beautiful white flowers on a long stem...how do I get me a starter from one...
Starting one from cutting is pretty simple. Just make sure that the plant is not in flower when you do so. Flowering hormones inhibit rooting hormones.

It appears to be normal discoloration. Just make sure not to cut any leaves off unless they are almost completely dead.

My yucca has not flowered now for the second year, but has many sturdy offshoots. Are these stopping it flowering and how do I get rid of them?
In your area, I suspect that the soil remains too moist for too long to let them flower properly.
You can prune out old branches, but you will need to treat the soil with fungicides frequently in order to prevent wet soils from killing off your plant.

I have had my yucca plant for two years it was beautiful but my toddler has destroyed it not sure if I should throw it away ideally o would like to try to save it. As you can see not much leaves left and have broken off their stems..
What you are seeing is a replacement branch, and they will commonly shoot more than one if they are healthy to begin with.
I am noticing signs of disease that have been inside of the small tree for quite some time, long before toddler damage. This is likely why it is not recovering, as they are normally very fast to sprout replacement shoots.
These trees prefer dry soils, and will contract disease when overwatered. Make sure that the tree dries out down to about halfway the container before watering again, and treat with a fungicide to rid it of the infection that it has.

Hello, is this a yucca plant? (Sorry the pic is crap!) is it possible / beneficial to stop the tips from turning brown / black? Thanks
It does not look like a yucca, which has erect stems. They don't usually cascade like this Is it possibly a ponytail palm?
Black or brown tips is usually a watering issue. Here is more:
