I have a wisteria cutting taken about 6 years ago and now is strong but never flowers. Do you have any ideas why that should happen? I don't want to give up as it came from my parents' garden and I can't get another cutting.
There are several reasons for a wisteria not blooming, but the most common is too much nitrogen. Adding some bone meal to the soil should help. This article can give you some other ideas too: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/vines/wisteria/wisteria-blooming-problems.htm
We had a low rainy season and the vine bloomed less than usual and then suddenly no leaves.
Check the roots for galls. It sounds like something may be attacking the roots.
Why did all the leaves on my wisteria dry up and fall off?
If it has received sufficient watering and has no other symptoms, then it is likely a fungus causing that. Treat the plant with a fungicide (like neem oil) and that should fix it. If it has been recently planted, it could be due to air pockets in the soil which are preventing the roots from taking up water. If this is the case, flood the area with water and tamp the soil down around the plant to collapse the air pockets.
Problem: This year the wisteria has not bloomed or leafed. Ugh! Is it dying or dormant or slow due to winter weather? It did bloom very little blooms and does show some life in a few small places along the vine. But it is not like it has been for the past 10 - 12 years. Needing help. . . . Ron & Debbie

My wisteria was a lovely yellow in the spring but has gone completely green. What can I do to get it back to the yellow colour it was?
Are you talking about the leaves or is this a yellow flowered wisteria?
If you are talking about the leaves, they aren't suppose to be yellow. This indicates a health issue with the plant. Once the issue is corrected, it returns to a green and healthy leaf color.
If you have a yellow flowered wisteria, it will rebloom next spring. They bloom in early to mid spring and are green for the remained of the season after the flowers fall.
