Is there anything that will kill prostrate pigweed that does not contain glyphosate? I have many prostrate pigweeds in my yard. It is a small area. I am allergic to glyphosate.
Here is an article on prostrate pigweed control that will help you:

Per this article there are other chemical based controls besides glyphosate that can be used, such as dicamba.
I have vast patches of what I think is knotweed. Herbicide control is not practical for me because I have certain blood ailments which can be worsened by exposure to such. Owing to the long tendrils of this weed, it seems to me that a rotary "comb" (horizontal axis) could be used to expose it, then a v-notched side-to-side blade could cut it off reasonably close to the ground (lawn height) while it is in tension. This obviously does not destroy or kill the weed, but certainly could be expected to tame it. Do you know of anything of the sort already available?
Keeping it from seeding can help control the weed.
I'm sorry I don't know of such a tool.
I have recently bought a house and was hoping to grow vegetables in an area at the side that gets a bit of sunlight. At the moment there are a lot of weeds and 3 tree stumps. How can I get rid of the weeds for good, will the tree stumps be a problem and what should I do to start with (ps I am new to this)?
First, you will need to identify what weed you have. The following web page can help you identify your weed and give you ideas on controlling it:

Happy gardening!
What should I mix w/RoundUp to get RoundUp to stay on weeds in the rainy weather?
Spraying or applying an herbicide in rainy weather is really not recommended. You need to wait for a time of clear weather between the rainstorms. You can add what is called a Spreader-Sticker product to the spray mix to help it spread out over and stick to the foliage. Go to a local garden center or nursery and tell them you need a Spreader-Sticker product to add to your plant spray mixes. It also works very well for use in application of insecticides and fungicides.
Wild ash has taken over my flower beds. How to get rid of it?
Pulling the weed tress out when they are small is a good safe way to remove.
Other suggestions are listed in the link below.
Be careful if you use herbicides as they will kill everything!

Neighbouring field has brambles encroaching on my property, which the local council wants removed. Need a weed killer that is safe for domestic and equine animals. Are there such products on the market? Thanks.

Do you know how I can get this vine out of my flowerbeds? I have tried the method of cutting stem and painting on brush killer and this doesn't seem to work well either.
If painting the cut stem with full strength herbicide has not worked, there is little else other than pulling the vine by hand.
