It has been hanging outside but we do not have room in house for our plants. Will it come back after winter if stored in cool garage? We also have Hibiscus that will be in same cool spot. Will it survive?
Zebrina pendula wandering Jew,the house plant is hardy in zone 9 and 10 in the US. It can't take temperatures below 55 degrees for very long. You can take about 5-10 small cuttings from the plant and winter them over in a small pot in your home, near a window, then in the early spring pot up about 5 of them to a pot into your hanging basket for the coming year.
I have recently planted a single clipping that I rooted in water first in the center of a new pot in fresh potting soil. The clippings are in a west facing window and also in an east facing window. For some reason, they are shooting straight into the air. They are not even falling or vining down. Please help. I would love to get the bushy plant back. What is causing this? I will also include a picture. Thank you.
Pinching back the plant regularly will keep if from getting tall and leggy.

So we recently bought our second Wandering Jew from a lovely little place in town. However, there seems to be black wet dots underneath the plant wherever we put it. We are worried about our plant's health and the health of our other Wandering Jew now. Do you know what this could be?
We found a small green caterpillar on our plant, so now we know what the problem is. So our question is now obsolete. However, thank you everyone who saw this. And thank the person who answered this.
You may just be getting some soil and water leaking through the drainage holes in the pot.
You may want to set the plant onto a tray that will allow the pot to drain excess water while not damaging the surface you have your plant sitting on.
Neem Oil is a good treatment for any plant insects and fungus, though I don't think you have any issues at this time.

I need to kill the grass and weeds where I plan to put in a cactus garden. If I use vinegar, how long before I can plant cactus, wandering jew, lemon balm and lemon grass? Thank you
The effectiveness of Vinegar for weed control is quite limited.
The effects to the soil would be short lived.

I have had my wandering jew outside since spring. Soon I will need to find a place for it - I have been giving clippings away but the plant is still huge. Will it survive outside?
If you live in gardening zone 9, you can leave it outside in its container or plant it in soil. If you live in any colder zone, you'll need to bring it indoors. You can prune it to reduce the size: you can remove up to 1/3 of the plant at a time.

My brother gave me this plant when it was just a bunch of dead twigs. I revived it and now it continues to grow at breakneck speed being cut back monthly. I have no clue what it is and have never seen one in a garden centre. Help?
This looks like a Wandering Jew plant.
