Q.Do we have insects?
So we recently bought our second Wandering Jew from a lovely little place in town. However, there seems to be black wet dots underneath the plant wherever we put it. We are worried about our plant’s health and the health of our other Wandering Jew now. Do you know what this could be?
We found a small green caterpillar on our plant, so now we know what the problem is. So our question is now obsolete. However, thank you everyone who saw this. And thank the person who answered this.
You may just be getting some soil and water leaking through the drainage holes in the pot.
You may want to set the plant onto a tray that will allow the pot to drain excess water while not damaging the surface you have your plant sitting on.
Neem Oil is a good treatment for any plant insects and fungus, though I don't think you have any issues at this time.
