I have a 3 year old poinsettia, originally bought in display at Christmas. The first year I dark treated it in October, the following year September but by Xmas it is barely reddening and each year has displayed in Mar/April. Right now (end Apr) it has flowers and STILL has new bracts reddening. I know that by rights it should be leafless and I should prune it but I am reluctant to disrupt its growth cycle . What should I do to get it to display for Christmas?! Advice very gratefully received.
I would keep this one going like it is and buy a new one this fall. But, if you only want one, here are the instructions for Christmas blooming. Make sure you follow them exactly.
Have you been following these instructions exactly? Including the dormancy, repotting, fertilizing, etc.
You are very adventurous! Most people don't try this.
Hello. I got this Poinsettia last November. From February the leaves started falling down. And this is the photo I got today. Is it still alive? What are the necessary cares I can follow now to make it revive for next winter? Thank you very much for your time and help.
If the stems are flexible and there's some green under the surface, you may want to try to save it. Trim away the dead leaves and clean any debris around it. Here's an article that may help:

I know there is a method to bring the color change about, something about protecting them from daylight? how, when, how long? They are now all green and growing great.

I had a beautiful poinsettia that I planted outside this summer. I figured I didn't have anything to lose, I'd see what happened. It's thriving, it's huge with tons of green leaves. I assume I will need to pot it and bring it in before it gets cold. How do I ensure it blooms and I get flowers for Christmas?
Yes, you can temporarily plant it outside now but bring it inside into a pot once overnight temperatures approach 50F or less. The one I had in the Caribbean was planted to get mostly shade but below is more applicable information for growing indoors in colder locations. Avoid letting the soil get very dry or near hot/cold air vents inside.
I set my poinsetta plant outside. They are tall an "leggy" I read that they should be cut back during the summer. It is now mid Sept. Is it too late to cut them back now??
Generally, it is acceptable to cut them back anytime you feel that they need it.
This article will give you more information on their care:

I am trying to get my last years poinsettia to bloom again. I am putting it in a closed for 12 to 14 hours at night. We don't have much sun this time of year, so I was wondering if I can put it under a plant light during the day. Judy
Here is some information:
grow light for the daylight cycle? The room is dark. I won’t be able to provide natural light. I have watering bulbs to provide the water.
That sounds like a good idea. A grow light on a timer should work for the light.
