I live in India. I tried to grow Petunias from seeds, but they don't germinate. Please give me some tips.
The first step is to start off with good, fresh and viable seed. If you think the seed may have been old, you might want to try another source, possibly on line. After that, here are the basics of growing petunia from seed: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/petunia/petunia-seed-propagation.htm
Our seedling petunias have been transplanted but are now yellowing on the leaves. Too wet, need to fertilize, more heat? It looks like a yellowing you see in soil that is the wrong pH. We have a small greenhouse and it can go there, but it gets 90 degrees in there or more. Help.
There are a number of reasons why your seedlings may be yellowing:
* Poor soil drainage - your petunias may be waterlogged. Is the ground really wet/damp/soggy? Soil needs to be well-draining. Loose, loamy soils are best to plant in.
* Planted too deep - how deep did you plant your petunias? If they are planted too deep, they will have difficulty absorbing water. When transplanting petunias, you should maintain the same soil level the plant experienced in the pot.
* How much sun are the petunias getting? Petunias do best when they get upwards of 6 hours of sun a day
* Have you fertilized? Care of petunias includes regular fertilization with a balanced, water soluble fertilizer designed for blooming plants. The recommended pH of the soil is 6.0 to 7.0.

Got petunias in a basket for Easter. It's hangingĀ in full sun. It has rained so they are watered but the whole plant now just droops down over basket. Can it be saved?
The only thing I can think of is perhaps your petunias have been over-watered. Perhaps they got drenched or battered down in the rain? And, is there adequate drainage in your hanging basket? Feel the soil - if it's damp/soggy then your petunias have definitely been overwatered and should be probably be re-potted in fresh soil after being inspected for possible root rot. Can anyone tell me the name/type of plant this is? I was given this plant and am not sure how to care for it.
It looks like a celebrity pink petunia. For more information on the care of petunias, please visit the following link:

What organism is eating the petals off my petunias in the garden? The leaves are healthy. Plants are watered and fertilized, but something is chewing at the delicate petal of the flowers. (I don't have a pet.) There is no evidence of anything crawling around on the leaves.
What does the damage look like?
The list of possible culprits is many - deer, rabbits, squirrels, chickens, tobacco budworm larva, slugs, etc.

Any home remedies?
Without knowing the cause it is difficult to propose a remedy. However, the likely cause is probably an insect. I would inspect your petunias thoroughly for insects. Here are articles that will link you to potential culprits and remedies:
It could be a tobacco budworm (the article focuses on roses, but they do infest petunias):

Once the petunia seeds are placed on top of the soil to begin growth, do you place soil over the top of the seeds or do you leave the seeds exposed?
Yes, the seed is sprinkled on top of the soilless mix.
