what is happening to my Pachy ? I got it like this from the plant shop...is there something I can do or it just needs sunlight ??
Could you be more specific. Is it wilting?, changes in leaf color?, leaf spots or damage from pests?.

why does my pachandra have ferns growing out of it ?
It is very likely that some fern spores made it into the same area. Since ferns grow from spore instead of seed, it is very likely to spread where it is not intended. If the plant were outside for any time, there is a good chance fern spore made it in. I have a large patch of about 5 ft. by 4 ft. which is completely bare amongst a full area of pachysandra which still appears healthy. The area of infection is spreading, however. What chemical can I purchase to get rid of the blight? It was diagnosed by Va Extension service.
My solution is to use wettable sulfur and dolomitic lime. You can also use copper fungicide sprays, but I still prefer the method mentioned before. This can help clear the soil of the infection. Here is an article for more information on the care of this: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/groundcover/pachysandra/pachysandra-volutella-blight.htm
Cornell extension said use miracid or hollytone..nothing happened and it keeps dying off..any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Pachysandra will struggle if it gets too much sun, not enough water or if it is infected. There are several blights that affect pachysandra. One is known as boxwood blight and while boxwoods are mainly affected, it also afflicts pachysandra. The other blight is discussed in the following article: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/groundcover/pachysandra/pachysandra-volutella-blight.htm
Whether mildew, leaf spot, mosaic virus, or other infection, infected leaves should always be removed as soon as noticed and put in the trash.
Can I take pachysandra from one area and move to a different empty area?
Yes, you can transplant; early spring or fall is a good time.
While we don't recommend specific products, there are products available that kill grass in garden beds without harming the groundcover or ornamentals. You must be sure pachysandra is listed on the label as safe to use around. Look for it where you buy your garden products. And always follow label directions when using any herbicides.
I have pachysandra that is turning brown and dying and right next to it the leaves of mature hosta are paper thin with holes in them. Am wondering if it's fungus or a disease.
Your pachysandra may have volutella blight. See the pics below. Remove the infected material and thin the bed.

Your hosta could have leaf scorch and snail damage or anthracnose. Here are descriptions that should help:
