Pachysandra Plants

Q.We have large areas of pachysandra, and for the past 5 years or so it is dying off in spots..some here some there..have used miracid.

Cornell extension said use miracid or hollytone..nothing happened and it keeps dying off..any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Pachysandra will struggle if it gets too much sun, not enough water or if it is infected. There are several blights that affect pachysandra. One is known as boxwood blight and while boxwoods are mainly affected, it also afflicts pachysandra. Whether mildew, leaf spot, mosaic virus, or other infection, infected leaves should always be removed as soon as noticed and put in the trash.
