Customer bought a rare plant two months ago and is now saying I planted it wrong and it’s not doing well. All symptoms also point to recent fires causing smoke problems with plants in this area in general. Am I responsible for refunding two months later?
We are not able to offer legal advice, unfortunately. This one will be more suited for someone versed in the law for your area.
An acquaintance of mine had a plant with crown rot. She exposed the roots and sprayed them with a 1:5 dilution of Sol-U-Mel from Melaleuca/water and replanted in a clean pot. The plant flourished. Thought you might be interested. No need to contact me.
Hello - I have several potted perennials that I'm hoping to keep through the long Minnesota winter; is there any way I can help them survive outdoors? I would bring them inside, but my cat would definitely eat them (some of the plants are toxic to pets). I'd appreciate any advice I can get. Thank you!
Of course, a garage or basement would be best, but if you need to leave them outside, you can mulch them heavily and wrap them with burlap or some other insulating material, or sink the pots into the ground and cover with a deep layer of mulch. This article will help:

Is this a Christmas cactus? If so, you don't need water. Just pinch off some healthy segments, let them dry a couple days, then insert in fresh cactus or succulent potting mix.
