Hi I'm Aga and as a part of a BTYS project, my friend Azra and I are doing a project about talking to plants and were wondering if u had an opinion or any tips on what SEEDS to use
Choose a fast growing annual for your project. Some easy ones to grow are marigolds, zinnia (opt for the shorter ones), or sulphur cosmos.
I really enjoyed and valued the part found in the care of a plant that *included* a section on the area to plant and how many plants I would need. I've inherited a rather large garden and having a time. Thanks if you can put it back in, or make a link to it.
Here is a calculator you can use for help:

Hybrid or cultivar names are often named by the hybridizer who may choose family names or a catchy name. Plants that are discovered in the wild are often named for the person who found them.

I'm looking at some fertilizer information for various perennials, and they say things like 'late fall', or 'spring'. I'm assuming 'spring' is when the ground is no longer frozen, and from a planting standpoint the ground is not too wet and can be worked. I'm not sure if the 'too wet' is meaningful for a fertilizer standpoint. I know when the 'official' calendar dates are for the seasons, and I understand the frost dates But I would think that 'late fall' really isn't meaningful in terms of dates, but rather in weather or location. Can you help me understand?
You can determine late fall by your plants. Grass is still green but has stopped growing. Late fall blooming plants include pansies, mums, helenium, and ornamental cabbages and kale. Fall foliage has turned and is dropping. Temperatures have dropped at night and frost may occur.
Early fall would be when the seasons change from summer to fall.
Hi, Hope you are well. I got your contact during my online Google search for Indigofera dye products. I had completed trial cultivation last month (attached Photo). Now I am ready for bulk cultivation at the beginning of next season. So far I am okay with the cultivation part. I need your help in process of indigo natural dye extraction and how & where to market/sell my natural dye. I will be thankful to you if you could spare some time and help me to achieve my dream career.

Plant is not over watered, no pest present
rlempson, can you possibly please re-post again and include: the name and variety of the plant, age of the plant, sun/shade conditions in spring/summer under which it is planted, the type of soil it has, overall health status of the plant and its leaves, and information about your watering/fertilizing regime. It is common for some plants to drop foliage at this time. Also, some types of plants like hollies for example, have evergreen and deciduous cultivars. Some plants also drop foliage when the leaves have leaf fungal issues (think: roses).
