A lot of moss grows on my sheltered beds. Should I leave and let other plants grow through or should I remove it?

I have green moss growing on my flower beds and also attaching to the bricks. I have tried to remove some but it returns. I am in the process of removing it all again, but need to know if there is something that I can put on the soil and bricks do it does not grow again. In some areas the moss is quite thick as you will see on the attached photos. Thank you for all your help and your knowledge.

I would like my lawn to be entirely moss. Could you tell me how to kill off the grass, without damaging the moss, please? Many thanks.
You can spot treat the grass with a herbicide specific to grass. It targets the roots.

Hi there, We got a cheese plant about a year ago and it's grown a lot in the last couple of months. The growth has caused the plant to out grow the moss pole that it came with when we bought it. So I've bought a new, taller moss pole. I was wondering if you might have any advice on switching the original moss pole out for the new one? Some of the aerial roots have grown through the current pole. I was planning on using a knife to carefully cut around them so I can the pole out. Will the aerial roots grow into the new pole? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Tom
When it comes time to repotting and changing a moss pole, this is a good time to prune. Move the leaves as carefully as possible, but trim the plant inorder to make the change if necessary.
