What should I do with the soil that is with the moss will there be any insects?
There are likely insects in the soil, but most will be harmless. This depends on what you are wanting to do with the soil. Are you planning on reusing it? What will be the purpose for the soil now?
My rockery gets loads of sun but is still covered in moss, on the stones and between plants. Easy to remove from stones but not on the soil. Any advice please.

Last year I moved moss into my crockery area,it thrived. In the last couple of weeks I've found much of it uprooted and strewn onto an adjacent path. This keeps happening?
It is likely that there is something trailing down the path, and tossing it, looking for insects, and grubs under the moss.
There is a method that I recommend to keep pests off of it. This will not harm the moss. Just slice up some hot peppers and boil them in a few cups of water. When this cools, strain off the peppers and put the water in a spray bottle. Spray all of the moss that you can, and there won't be much that will bother it anymore.
I have an abundance of this peat moss in my yard. Is there any way to kill this off or do I have to rototill it and replant grass? I have seen moss killer but nothing to get rid of this peat moss. Any help would be welcome. Thank you.
Rototilling, as well as pouring boiling water on the patches will get rid of it. You can also try raising the pH of the soil with dolomitic lime to kill it off. Using all three methods will likely kill most, if not all of it.
How can you get rid of moss all over a lawn?
This is likely caused by highly compacted soil. It is not allowing water to drain properly, which is causing mosses and algae to grow. You will have to aerate the yard, and reseed with some new grass. This will make it hard for anything but the grass to grow, since they will outcrowd most other plants.

I have a yellow growth on my lawn that looks like moss. Could it be moss that has dried out or burnt or do I have another problem? Please advise. Thank You.

My moss is growing on the black sheets are used to stop weeds in gardens. Can I transplant these sheets onto a Bowing ball size marble ball?
The marble ball is not a good object for moss to adhere to.
You can make a sphere with chicken wire and pack with Sphagnum Moss.
You can then attach the moss. You will need to mist the moss ball periodically.
