My Monstera Deliciosa is growing tall but not wide. Is there anything I can do to support growth outwardly? Currently, it looks like its trying to balance its leaves unsteadily on 1 stem. Thanks.
Although this plant is, naturally, a vine it can be cut back at anytime. Just cut back to the preferred height.

Thank you for this insightful article- it’ll be helpful when I propagate. Apart from propagation, do you know of any other ways that a monstera with only 1 stem can be trained to grow wider/fuller, rather than just grow vertically? Thanks heaps
I bought a swiss cheese house plant a few weeks ago. It needed repotting asap as the roots were very root bound & the plant was dying. I mixed multipurpose compost with coco coir & sand. I used fine sand. The plants looking much better 4 days later and sprouting new leaves but I think in a week or so it may start to suffer again because the soil doesnt have enough drainage. Would it be ok to repot again in better quality potting soil & perlite only after a repotting a week ago? I'm concerned it might be a bit to much for the plant.
This is quite the situation, isn't it? Repotting is VERY stressful, especially for this plant. But improper soil is, also, very stressful.
Carefully repotting into the proper soil might be the best option, but the mix that you have put it in will offer quite a bit of drainage. My only concern would be the heavy nutrient contents of compost if it has been added in too high of a ratio.

I can’t find a proper description of a raphidophora tetrasperma VS a monstera deliciosa, because a lot of people confuse them. :( I’m not sure what my plant is...
The leaf lobe arrangement says Raphidophora. You see how the lobes alternate on each side? That will be your indicator. Monstera lobes tend to mirror each other, where these lobes alternate down the mid-rib.
I inherited this Montesera delicioso. It was yellowing and in a small pot. So I re-potted it and it’s been doing great, it’s bloomed at least 6-8 new leaves in the last 6 months. But I don’t know what I’m doing here. The roots go in twists and turns...do I need to split it and how do I help it grow up? I have always wanted to have plants and I’m exited that I managed to get some good growth with this one!
This is normal, and no action should be taken.

I want to get some information of Monstera deliciosa cultivation, especially dwarf culture and the water and fertilizer managemant.

Do you have monstera seeds?
We don't sell any gardening products, but provide gardening information.
You probably have to buy those online. I would check with a reputable seed company, not individuals selling from group sites or alone. We hear about many seed selling scams, so be careful.

Wonder if this will work as the juvenile monstera roots are not as developed as the matured one. As the pot will be big for the juvenile plant, I’m afraid I will overwater them.
No, it will likely kill off the younger plant. Please make sure to plant them in individual containers to avoid killing them.
