Monstera Not Growing Wide

Question

My Monstera Deliciosa is growing tall but not wide. Is there anything I can do to support growth outwardly? Currently, it looks like its trying to balance its leaves unsteadily on 1 stem. Thanks.

Although this plant is, naturally, a vine it can be cut back at anytime. Just cut back to the preferred height.

Thank you for this insightful article- it’ll be helpful when I propagate. Apart from propagation, do you know of any other ways that a monstera with only 1 stem can be trained to grow wider/fuller, rather than just grow vertically? Thanks heaps
