Q.Why Are My Montesera Delicioso Roots Twisted?

Zone 59716 | laurajelinek added on June 13, 2020 | Answered

I inherited this Montesera delicioso. It was yellowing and in a small pot. So I re-potted it and it’s been doing great, it’s bloomed at least 6-8 new leaves in the last 6 months. But I don’t know what I’m doing here. The roots go in twists and turns…do I need to split it and how do I help it grow up? I have always wanted to have plants and I’m exited that I managed to get some good growth with this one!

This is normal, and no action should be taken.
