I recently purchased a lemon tree in a large pot. Now the leaves are turning yellow and curled and falling. All the young fruits went very dark and subsequently fell off with many of the leaves also falling. Where am I going wrong? Thank you in advance for your help

I have a lemon tree outside, it is about 25 feet high. I have had it for 8 years for the first 6 years no blooms at all. Last year it gave me 6 deformed lemons, but this year it is blooming and there was lots of blooms. But, even though there was lots of lemon the lemons are dropping off the tree long before they are ripe. So far I have picked up 345 baby lemons from the ground. Not too many left on the tree. What is the problem.
Some fruit drop is normal, but these articles will help you access the care.

My lemon's leaves look dry and not shiny at all. Not sure if it is a disease or lacks nutrients. Please advise.
If the leaves seem dry, check the moisture level of your plant. Citrus need even, regular moisture.
Watch for any other signs of stress or disease.
