I recently had a stump ground up. I have been trying to get grass to grow in that area with no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Many times, decomposing wood can raise the pH of soil. The stump remaining under the ground may be doing this. We recommend having the soil around the stump's former location tested. If it is acidic, add lime to bring the pH back in balance.
We have an unsightly patch of mushrooms growing in the lawn. I heard using baking soda water will kill them. Is this correct?

Will adding Dolomite Lime to my new lawn stop mushrooms by changing the pH?
It might, but it may also affect the ability of your lawn to grow well. A better option would be to treat the lawn with a fungicide. This article will also help:

I recently pumped my well. Unfortunately, not knowing too much about it, I pumped the water over my lawn. As the pumped water had a lot of sand [A LOT], this means that there's a good inch and a half thickness of sand over a large part of the lawn. Can anyone advise me what the next essential things have to be done, and what are the following things that have to be tackled?
The only answer I can think of is to rake it and try to thin out the depth.
My lawn started out very green and beauitful then I noticed a yellow area, and in the last 2-3 weeks it has spread to a very large area. What should I do before it kills all my grass? I have a very large, lush yard.
