I had my yard sodded last autumn and today it is full of mushrooms. I won't use a fungicide in my yard and I know I have a drainage problem in my yard. So I will live with them (wish I knew if they were edible!). Do I have to pull them out before I mow or just mow them down along with the grass?
You can mow them down with the grass. They will not harm your mower or your lawn.
I have an increasing number of dead patches in my lawn. I can't lift the grass up like described with grubs. We have found some green worms in the soil to the side of the lawn. I don't know what they are. They look a little like a tomato worm. I have been feeding my lawn heavily with high nitrogen fertilizer, as my soil test last year showed that my ground is severely nitrogen starved. Have I over fed it?
You may have a fungus. This article will explain more:

The property we are buying has no grass in the front. The owner says the previous tenants killed it trying to kill the weeds. I don't know what they used, but we were told it was dead last summer, and as of this year, the only thing starting to grow here and there are weeds. The owner is throwing in sod with the deal. My concern is, could there be so much chemicals in the soil that it is permanently damaged? And does the new sod stand a chance? Is there anything we should do before the sod is laid?

Is it too late to treat the lawn for grubs? Seeing that it is going into the second week of June, I have noticed patches of grass missing and was wondering if the grubs are being searched for by birds or if they are coming out of the ground, if they actually do that.

I used Evergreen 4 in 1 to treat my lawn because of lots of weeds. To my horror, it's now got lots of big patchy areas that are brown with dead weeds. Now three weeks later, it remains, so I tried to rake and water further and spread new grass seeds. Nearly a week later, still looks same. Any suggestions? Never had this problem in last 10 yrs I have been looking after my garden.
Unfortunately, you may need to reseed the patchy areas in the lawn.
Our grass has been beautiful and we have taken all the right steps (we thought) to finally have a nice lawn. We have had ample water and have kept it weed free. We now see patches of dying grass. Should we treat for grub worms?
Yes, it could be grubs. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/lawn-grubs-how-to-get-rid-of-grub-worms.htm
New sod last year. Each morning for the past two weeks there is a blanket of mushrooms (not an exaggeration) in my lawn. There is plenty of sun exposure, and drainage is good. I pick the mushrooms by the stems because they are unsightly. Will they eventually stop growing?
