Early spring pruning is recommended on Jasmine. Cut older canes to ground level and newer growth to a strong outside bud, varying the lengths of pruned branches.
If you have pruned down to old wood with no growth, you will be left with bare branches.

You may just have to wait it out to see how the shrubs regrow and make corrections next spring.

    HI ,

I SUGGEST YOU TO PRUNE THE DIED SPRIG WITH A SHARP CUTTER . REMOVE THE UNNECESSARY DIED LEAFS FROM THE POT. HALF LTR. WATER BEFORE SUNRISE AND PUT AGAIN HALF LTR. AFTER SUN SET. after 3 days you should water once in a days before sun rises and the it should be 1ltr.

Apart from that what i guess this pot doesnt have a hole . so while changing the pot make a hole put a ston on that hole and fill the soil.
no direct sunlight require more then 2 hours .

Container plants need daily water and even twice a day if the temperatures are above 85 degrees F.

Your plant likely needed more water.
