I sprayed quite a lot of this ant killer powder on some ants in my vegetable patch but now I am wondering if it will penatrate through to the vegetables via the roots and if it does would it be harmful to eat these vegetables?
Permethrin is safe to use in vegetable gardens, and edibles usually can be harvested after 24 hours. The back of your insecticide label should say how long to wait before harvesting. It can kill bees, however, so try not to use it when bees are active.

The leaves are stripped on my tomatoes. They were fine 2 days ago. According to Google, it is hornworms.
It will, likely, not kill them. They will avoid the recipe, however.
I have heard they are seasonal but I see more disturbed dirt in my yard. If seasonal will they go away on their own/when. Do I need to treat my yard. If so, what do I use. any advice would be welcomed.
I would leave them alone! If they get too overwhelming, then you can use carbaryl powder, however.

How do I get rid of Aphids for good!? They keep killing my plants I get rid of them and my leaves are still dying!
Aphids will cause all kinds of infections. If you get rid of those, and manage to kill off the infection, then keeping them away will keep the infection away, as well.
