This is the first time we have had encountered tent caterpillars! They are everywhere! Is there anything to use to get rid of them in our yard? They are on our patio furniture, outdoor carpet, grill, everything!
They must be falling from the trees! Usually the birds get them once they leave the tent. Here is more:

Hello! I used Blue Death Insecticide powder in my vegetable garden. After reading a bit mkre about the powder, it says that there are chemicals, very poisonous to humans in the powder. Will this powder be transmitted or taken into the plant and affect me if eaten?
Carbaryl is very toxic to humans, and causes cancer at all doses. Though it is used, sometimes, to control bugs in the fruit industry, it is done so in open air and sunlight so that it breaks down quickly.
In soil, it takes 16 days for it to break down on the surface. In deeper portions of soil, it can take up to 72 days to break down. Plants with deep roots will take this up, readily.
I would avoid this plot for several months, or at least two and a half.

This can be mitigated, mostly, by turning the pile as frequently as possible. This article will offer information on the subject:

Finding holes in leaves on basil plant and on lemon balm. Could it be this bug?
Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to see the insect in question.
It could be that, or any other insect causing the issue. Many insecticides are broad enough to work for many species.
