I was wandering whether you could grow garlic directly from its seed instead of using garlic cloves, since the amount is 100 more from the seed and cheaper.
Though garlic is not normally grown from seed, it can be done. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/garlic/how-to-grow-garlic-from-seed.htm
I have a hole about 2 feet deep and 3 feet long that I filled with soil that was meant for gardening. The surrounding soil is our usual red clay.

I planted garlic for the first time. The garlic plants are looking great, but all have seeds on one of the stack. Is this normal? Should I remove the seeds or just let it on until I harvest the garlic? Thanks in advance, Emile Landry
Those are bulbils and they can be planted just like the cloves and bulblets to grow new garlic but it will take 2 years before they will form a full head of garlic. You can simply leave them be or remove them. Either one will not hurt the plant.
Garlic is spreading all over my yard. How can I get rid of it? There more every year.

The garlic I bought for our eating is sprouting the cutest green sprouts. Can I plant these? Maybe in a pot indoors? We're on air-conditioning already part of the day here - in Talent, Oregon.
you could plant it in a pot, they would also gro great outdoors. simply put the in the dirt with just the green sticking out and give them water. but if you want to plant them outside you have to do it in the fall. they will spread and come back every year
Just bought a house. Old owner said there was garlic planted in garden and I want to try and find it.
They are long, flat and narrow (like grass) and may be gray-green in color.
As well, when you find "suspect" leaves - just pinch off the top of the leaf - crush it a little and sniff - garlic smells like...well... garlic. Enjoy!
