ginal position or will it have to be taken completely off The fig tree is very healthy with lots of fruit
Either will be fine! Tying it back up will give the branch the best chance for repair and fruiting.

e do with all the new growth at the bottom. We’ve had a few branches in the past but this is out of control.
These can be pruned, and used to start new trees if you would like! I would remove them, however.

Can I remove them now or wait til fall
my fig tree year after year continues to drop the first crop of figs, only giving me a small crop for such a big tree. it is on a slight hill, the soil is somewhat sandy. the leaves are very green and healthy. should i dig a hole and place a PVC pipe close to the root area for better watering? i am at a loss.
Typically, inconsistent watering, or lack of pollination will be to blame, depending on the cultivar that you have. This article will offer more information on the subject:

I live in NYS . Desert King first crop produse a fre figs. The second crop are small and fall off. How do I pollinate since we have no wasps here. I want to improve tne health of my tree. I have no pics of fallen figs on the ground. Please advise. Thank You
The common figs are self fertile. Desert King is a San Pedro type which can produce two crops, the main crop with wasp pollination and the second crop, like the common fig, without pollination. You should get one crop without pollination. You may get two. Here is some info on Desert King and growing figs in general.

My fig tree is about a foot tall and is 2-3 years old. Last week, these brown patches showed up on the upper leaves. Can you help? The environment (sun, water) hasn’t changed.
You may have some root rot going on since those are new leaves. I suggest repotting in fresh soil and clean the container well before repotting. Make sure to use well draining soil, and there should be several drainage holes in the bottom. Figs do not like wet feet.
They also need bright light. They grow quickly so check the roots; you may need to go up a pot size. Here are more care tips:
