I just picked up a very very depressed looking dieffenbachia plant on clearance from Bunnings hoping that I might be able to save him! He is incredibly floppy and droopy, trunk looks good but the leaves are NOT happy. There is a new leaf unfurling which doesn’t look too unhealthy. The soil feels very moist so I will be avoiding watering for a while. What should I do to give him the best shot possible?
That is very disease ridden. A fungicide may help, but it is very likely that the plant will not survive.
The best way forward will be to use a fungicide and provide proper care. These articles will help:

My Dumb Cane houseplant is not thriving even though I don't overwater and have her in a filtered bright light area (6ft from West facing window), good drainage pot. Brown spots, dry edges, tiny black spots under the leaves, yellowing leaves top to middle to bottom, new growth is pale. I treated it with Neem oil without success. What am I doing wrong? Pls reply!
It sounds as though you may need to fertilize and, perhaps, change the location of the plant. Since the Neem oil didn't work, try an insecticidal soap on the underside of the leaves.

I just inherited this very large plant and I broke a significantly large stem. How do I save it. Can it be just replanted or do I have to place in water to reroot it.
It's hard to tell whether the plant is broken or just bent. Here are two articles that should help. The first explains how to propagate this plant - you may need to do that. However, if the plant is simply bent, it may be repairable.

My husband has had this plant for years and has no idea what it is. I repotted it and gave it some indirect sun and after the initial stress, it is happier- I'm also watering it more. It has two new leaves! But on one of the two stalks the leaf is dying. Do I cut it off? Where? Well it grow more leaves? I don't want to just have one stalk.
The only way to force lower growth is to prune it! Still, you may want to wait until you see a little more new growth before you do this. Also, have care when pruning, as this plant contains an incredible amount of calcium oxalates.

Thank you!
My dieffenbachia plant's leaves are turning brown drying up.
I the browning leaves are at the bottom of the plant, that is normal. Just trim those off. If the browning leaves are higher up on the plant, it could be a watering issue.

I have several indoor dumbcanes through filtered and indoor lights.ive had some for over a year, and one of them has stopped producing new leaves. There's also a baby one which I don't know why it doesn't grow in the longest. Do I need to repot with richer soil? It has plant food . Third one is great, has huge leaves, but the last two leaves are smaller. How can I keep them big an healthy? They are in good fertilized soil from the botanical garden. Fourth one is tall. Finally growing a new leaf after ages! Don't know what triggered it, was gonna ask last week if I should chop it and replant. I love dumb csnes cuz they are so resilient and they bring fresh air! Beautiful huge leaves ! Pls help me keep my ones strong and healthy :)
They can be slow growing, by nature. If it doesn't get fertilized every two months or more, then it will likely grow much slower. I would say that feeding them will help to speed them up just a little. This article will help you to care for the plant:

I have 2 dieffenbachias - one is thick stemmed and has had to be cut and rooted again as it had reached the ceiling. The other is thin stemmed with much smaller, but healthy looking leaves, however any new leaves it sprouts remain rolled up (for months). I have just cut it to start new roots hoping this might help. These 2 plants are in the same area of the house and are watered ~ once a week, or if soil starts to feel dry. Both were also re-potted last year with the same new soil after a gnat problem (no pest issues since).
Try giving your plant more light (indirect but bright) and rotating a quarter turn regularly, and see if that helps. They are heavy feeders and need fertilizer every 4 to 6 weeks. Also, keep the soil moist but wait till the surface dries out between waterings.
