Q.Is This A Dieffenbachia? What To Do About Stalk With Dying Leaf?
My husband has had this plant for years and has no idea what it is. I repotted it and gave it some indirect sun and after the initial stress, it is happier- I’m also watering it more. It has two new leaves! But on one of the two stalks the leaf is dying. Do I cut it off? Where? Well it grow more leaves? I don’t want to just have one stalk.

The only way to force lower growth is to prune it! Still, you may want to wait until you see a little more new growth before you do this. Also, have care when pruning, as this plant contains an incredible amount of calcium oxalates.
