My daffodil flowers are all gone now. What is the proper way to remove them? Shall I take just the flowers off or take flower and stalks off?
You can remove both the stem and spent flowers. Leaves the foliage, however, as the plants need this to make energy for next season's blooms.
If bulbs have not bloomed for several years, will taking them up and cooling them cause them to bloom again? I live in the South.

My daffodil bulbs need to be dug up and separated. How do I dry them and store them so that I can replant in the fall?
Depending on where you are located, this may vary somewhat between bulbs. Here is an article or two that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/bgen/preparing-bulbs-for-winter-how-to-store-bulbs-for-winter.htm

Can I plant daffodil bulbs in large pots outside? They would get morning sun and sometimes late in the day.
Actually, daffodils are a good choice for under trees. In the spring, when daffodils are blooming and storing energy, the tree's leaves have not filled in enough to overly shade the flowers. By the time the trees' leaves a filled in, the daffodils are dying back.
If you plant in pots, the only issue you will really have is making sure they get enough water. As their roots will be restricted by the pot, they cannot grow out to find more water and are more reliant on you to make sure they get water.
The plant is not blooming anymore and I was wondering how much to cut down so that the plant will rebloom each year. Please advise.

Some of my daffodils are in full flower and it's June. I've never had this happen before. Any idea why? I'm in Northampton. Thanks.
It has been a cool spring, wet for many parts of the country. If this was the case where you live, the combination of cool temps and decreased sunlight (due to overcast days) may have "tricked" the daffodils into blooming later than usual.
thanks for the reply but all my other daffs have flowered and finished ages ago these ones sure seem strange and are in full flower even now
If daffocils are forced in water in the home, what happens to the bulbs after blooming is finished? Can you save them and force them again? I purchased a beautiful glass container with daffodil bulbs blooming and they bloomed until after Easter. I saved the bulbs, but I do not know if they can be used again.
