I have read that I must not cut them back before 6 weeks, plant deeper, place in the sun. Thank you
Yes. After the foliage has withered, move the daffodils to a full sun (6 hours or more) location. Plant the bulbs twice as deep as their height.

I want to plant something in my 8' x 10' daffodil garden to provide color after my daffodils have died back. I successfully leave my daffodil bulbs in the ground year after year so I need to plant seeds in-between them, but I don't know what will provide late summer or fall color. I hate just looking at an empty flower bed. Can you offer an idea?
Here's an article that lists many plants that will do well in your daffodil bed:

I have massive amounts of daffodils. How do you suggest replanting so they are distributed over large areas. ??
No, but you can shake off the soil. Here is more:

Trying to figure out whether I should dig up old bulbs and replant new.
Do you fertilize at all? Do you let the foliage die back naturally each spring? Are the bulbs possibly overcrowded. If so, digging and transplanting can help. If none of these are an issue, I would replant.

Do you dead head daffodils and tulips after the blooms are wilted?
Yes, you can remove the whole stem. Do not remove the leaves as they need to be left to wither. The plants rejuvenate the bulb through the leaves.
They have bloomed and the leaves are still green but drooping. I do not want to separate the bulbs. Do I repot them now while they can still take in sunlight and possibly can continue making and storing food? I have NO space to plant in a bed and I need them to live and bloom as they came from my Grandmother's yard. I live in South Carolina in Spartanburg. I think this is zone 7.
Wait till all the foliage has died back before transplanting the daffodils. That way, the bulb has had time to recondition.
