Q.Planted Daffodills 8 Yrs Ago. This Year All Came Up But Only 2 Bloomed. Should They Be Replaced?

Trying to figure out whether I should dig up old bulbs and replant new.

Do you fertilize at all? Do you let the foliage die back naturally each spring? Are the bulbs possibly overcrowded. If so, digging and transplanting can help. If none of these are an issue, I would replant.
