I have been growing chili trees in Nigeria. They do not seem to last during the growing period. Now that I have established good ground and area to grow, it has been doing well except that I am experiencing a similar after effect, as the WOOLLY APHID is leaving curled leaves and white dusty spots. Please advise me of a home method to make the chili trees grow without these issues. I have been using a mixture of MILK, WATER and DISH WASHING LIQUID. Only started about 3 days ago.

Can anyone tell me why my Scotch bonnet Chilies have no heat whatsoever? I bought them labelled at my, usually reliable, local garden centre and they have grown well. The plant is about 127cm with dozens of chilies but neither the fruit or seeds have any heat at all. Why?

I have a batch of Carolina Reaper peppers that I have had in the fridge for about 3 weeks. The peppers are bad now. No mold or visible rot but they are mushy. Can I dry the seeds to eat or is this not a viable option?
As long as the seeds don't have any mold on them and don't smell bad, they should be fine to dry and eat.
My chili tree is 3 yrs and also flowered twice. It gives fruit which is black pepper sized. Please guide me on what to do so that it gives good fruits. My small sized oranges have started flowering 3 months back and it just gave one orange. Help me in getting good fruits from both the plants.

Is it better to grow hot peppers in a greenhouse or in a raised bed in the garden? I know hot peppers like it really hot and in the summer, our greenhouse gets very warm, but I have the mesh cover netting to shade them from the very hot summer. We live in the Spokane, WA area and the summers can get in the 90s and 100s. Thanks for any advice. Sharon
Growing in a greenhouse is a great way to grow hot peppers in more northern climates, but growing them outside is also a possibility. If you decide to grow outside, look for pepper varieties that produce in a shorter season and do better with some cool weather. In a greenhouse, you should be able to grow a wider range of varieties.
Will chili pepper hurt my plants ?
You should not put it directly onto a plant or around the roots, just in the area to deter animals from the area.
