A number of my plants have developed holes in some of their leaves. This includes a cherry tree but also flowering plants. In one case there are holes in the flowers themselves. What would be a good all purpose insecticide?
Neem Oil is an excellent product to keep in your garden. It's organic and safe for people and bees.
It helps with most pests and even works as a fungicide.

I have a five year old flowering cherry tree. It has grown every. This year it has flowers more than ever and is producing cherries. The problem is, on the end of every branch there are hundreds of small black bits. Photo attached. It looks like an infestation. I have lopped as many branches as I can but some are too high for me to reach. What can I do? Thanks

Is there a sealer I can apply over the split to reduce any further damage. It's not leaking any sap at this time. Thanks in advance! Lorin Knox
Experts suggest not sealing the crack. It does not help in the healing process. Here is more:

Hello, Yesterday, I realized that I sprayed some Sprectracide Weed and Grass Killer onto my Kwanzan Cherry Blossom tree that is about 2 years old, Gardenia and 2 tea olive trees that I purchased early spring. I meant to put the pesticide onto them but I picked the wrong bottle. I noticed it because of all of the brown spots on the leaves, which I attached to these questionnaire that I am sending. I sprayed them on Friday and didn't see the spots until Sunday. Once I saw them, I removed all of the leaves/small branches that were turning yellow, brown, and black. I also watered them down very well and near the root system to hopefully wash away the weed killer. Do you have any other suggestions for me to help save my plants and tree?
Unfortunately, not much can be done at this point. If it is caught immediately, spraying with water does help. You will have to let it fend off what it can. Eventually it can recover on its own. It does help to apply activated charcoal to your soil to some degree. It can help sap out some of those chemicals, but this is just going to be a game of patience. Also try adding compost to absorb some of the chemicals. You can also call the company and ask for advice.

I have a Kwanzan Cherry Blossom Tree that has these weird marks on the trunk of the tree. I put insecticide and fungicide on all my trees and plants to prevent any pests or fungal diseases.
These are called lenticels and they are present on all cherries to a degree. In fact, they are present in almost all of the Prunus genus. This is no cause for concern. It is just a part of the tree.

Hello, I purchased a 2-year old multi-graft cherry tree a few weeks ago. I just noticed some small bumps on it as well as spotting on the leaves. I attached some photos and wanted to make sure that this wasnt a cause for concern or if theres any suggestions on how to fix it if it is diseased? Thank you in advance!
Those bumps are called "lenticels" and are a natural part of the bark of Cherry trees.
Unfortunately, the leaf spotting photo did not come through, so I am unable to say whether there is an issue with your tree or not.

Awesome! Thank you so much for the help and info!
Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. I am unable to see the damage. There are many diseases that can cause these symptoms depending on, exactly, how it appears.
