What can I do? My cherry tree has lots of sap on it.
Depending on how it looks, it could be a few things.
If the "sap" is dripping from the leaves, this means the tree has aphids. The sap is actually honeydew from the bugs. This article will help with that:

If the sap is on the bark, it could be canker. This article will help with that:

If the sap is on the fruit, it could be peach borer, which can attack any stone fruit. This article will help with that:

I have a cherry tree that this year yielded lots of cherries. But all the cherries developed some kind of fungus (I think), It started with a black spot at the tip of the fruit that spread to the whole cherry. Can you tell me what the problem is and how to cure it? I used fungicide from my local garden center to no avail. The tree seems to be healthy. It is 5 years old and has grown considerably since I planted it. It gets pruned and fertelized regularly. I would be greatful if some one could tell me what the problem is.
It sounds like it might be brown rot. This article will help:

My cherrry tree is loaded with cherries, but they seem to be all pits and very little meat around the pit. They are starting to turn red. Can you help?
There is nothing you can do for them this year. This happens when the tree is under stress and correcting it now will not fix it for this year, but will make sure that it does not happen for next year. There are many things that can stress a plant. The most common is lack of water, pests or fungus.
Try increasing water to the tree and treat it with both a fungicide and a pesticide. This should hit the source of the stress and result in better fruit next year.
I have 4 peach trees and one cherry tree. All have a light green fungus on the trunks and the leaves are falling off. The fruit looks ok for now. I've already lost two peach trees. Can't find anything on here about the fungus I have.
It actually sounds like you have lichen. The lichen itself does not kill the tree, but they are attracted to trees that are stressed. You can say it is more of a symptom. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/fungus-lichen/treatment-tree-lichen.htm
Yellow leaves on a plant can happen for several reasons. The most common are watering issues, fungus on the leaves or pests. Make sure that you are watering the plant enough and treat the trees with both a fungicide and a pesticide. This should help the trees improve.
