Some of the older leaves are turning brown, starting at the tip. This tree will be 2 yrs old this November. Does this sound like a disease or poor watering conditions?
Brown leaf tips are often caused by either excessive fertilizer or salt content in the soil, or by an inability of the roots to obtain enough water. Here is more information:
Can you tell me what could be wrong and can it be treated?
I'm not able to see any photo along with your question. Would it be possible to post it again?
I want to (and do) remove the suckers from our cherry trees. But the "suckery" one is pink, flowers beautifully for our eldest child's b'day (4y) in early August, and we always take a "family photo" of all 4 of us in front of it each year when it's "going nuts." Please, can you tell me what the "suckers" will turn into if I was to grow them on as cuttings. (We're on 104Ha so size isn't an issue)
There really is no way to know what root stock the Cherry Tree was grafted unto.
Leaving the sucker growth to grow will take energy away from the tree and likely over time will effect the health of the tree.
Fruit production will likely be affected.
The leaves of our cherry tree are curling on the sides, lengthwise, and don't look healthy. The are 2 or 3 branches that have new growth with healthy leaves, but the tree on the whole does not seem well. Fruit this year was poor. Although the weather has been very hot, the ground is moist as we have a sprinkler system. Please advise on the best treatment. Thanks, Robin
Curled or rolled leaves can be a sign of insect infestation or disease in cherry trees. Underwatering can also be a cause- do make sure the rtee is receiving enough volume of water from the sprinkler system. This article has more information:

Aphids and leafrollers can cause rolled leaves. In this case you would see the insects themselves on or inside the leaves.
A fungal disease caused by Taphrina deformans causes curled and puckered leaves with a distinctive look. Here is more information:

Tree looks as if it's dying. Leaves have not been a good green all summer, and have noticed holes in leaves. Keep watering but no different, flowers were white instead of pink. Could you tell me what trouble is, please?
This could be a nutrient deficiency. Leaves that don't fully turn green are often a sign of this. Here are some possibilities:

This year my cherry tree had its best ever crop. However, when ripening, all of the cherries went bad from the inside very quickly. Have you an answer to this problem?
This could be Brown Rot.
Here is a link that explains this.

Two new cherry trees planted and now we have leaves with what looks like spidery lines inside the leaf. Leaves turning curled up, holes in leaves and growing has stopped.
This is damage caused by leaf miner insects. See these articles for help:
