I would like to trim back my burning bush. I have read that it is suggested to do pruning when it is dormant. What would happen if I trimmed it back now? I had heard it would not turn red in fall anymore. Is that correct? This bush is 6' tall now and I would like to trim back about 2'. Thank you!
It will be fine to prune it back now. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/burning-bush/pruning-burning-bush.htm
I planted 3 burning bushes around 6-7 weeks ago and they still look the same as they did when I planted them. When should they start showing growth? Right now they are still brown with a little green on the stems.
They are likely experiencing transplant shock. Continue to water, and depending on the size of these shrubs, you may want to prune them back by 1/3. This will help the plants to focus on establishing good roots. Also, give them some bone meal to help boost phosphorus, which helps with root development.
I have several 3 year old burning bushes that are in need of pruning/shaping. When is the best time to do this trimming?

I have several burning bushes that are growing vigorously, and I wondered if it is too late to trim them back now. They have leaves on them. Thank you.
This article should help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/burning-bush/pruning-burning-bush.htm
After the harsh winter, I have 5 burning bush plants that appear to be dead at the top with very sporadic growth throughout, but very good growth at the base. All are approximately 6 feet tall.
Your bushes were damaged by the hard winter weather, but should come back nicely. You can prune them back hard, what is called rejuvenation pruning, and they should be better than ever in a couple of years. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/burning-bush/pruning-burning-bush.htm
The burning bush receives morning and afternoon sunlight. We have never used fertilizer on it. After first planting, the rabbits enjoyed the new treat. We placed a fence around the bush. It has never changed color, a pink if anything. Unsure of what to do. Thanks for your time.
My guess is that it doesn't have enough sun. Full sun means sun all day. This article has some more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/burning-bush/burning-bush-care.htm
