Numerous other stalks are growing nearby with the distinctive trunk of burning bush, but also haven't turned red. How do I prune them to force them to color? Thanks
While it does need to be pruned, they won't turn red without enough sun.

You should plan to prune the roots of these bushes when you're ready to transplant them. Here are helpful articles:

I found aphids on my burning bushes. I sprayed them with Seven, now their dropping all their leaves. The bushes are almost bare. Will they continue growing new leaves through the summer or will they stay bare throughout? What can I do?
Make sure all dead leaves, stems and debris are clipped and removed from the area. I'm not sure what happened, but hopefully your plant will survive. I think a better alternative, although perhaps slower, is to treat with neem oil or insecticidal soap. They are safer in several respects.
We’ve had a burning bush for about 15 years. It’s thriving well but it has never ever turned red. What can we do? Thanks

My burning bush has leaves that are turning brown. Other leaves on the bush look like they are being eaten by something. What should I do?

We are looking for an extra small dwarf burning bush that at mature height, is only 4’ tall and wondering if there is such a variety? We want them for multiple hedges in our condo association and they have a height limit. They don’t take the fact that they can be trimmed into account so we need to find something that will only grow to that height and give us that beautiful fall color. We live in northern Iowa, zone 4. Thank you!
There is one that stays close to that. 'Rudy Haag' will reach, only, 5 feet. It can be pruned to height from there.
