Burning Bushes With Aphids

I found aphids on my burning bushes. I sprayed them with Seven, now their dropping all their leaves. The bushes are almost bare. Will they continue growing new leaves through the summer or will they stay bare throughout? What can I do?

Make sure all dead leaves, stems and debris are clipped and removed from the area. I'm not sure what happened, but hopefully your plant will survive. I think a better alternative, although perhaps slower, is to treat with neem oil or insecticidal soap. They are safer in several respects.
