There are many types of Begonias and I'm not clear if this is an indoor plant or outdoors.

I potted my tuberous begonias too soon and they have grown perhaps too well. We have at least another month of frosty weather; should I cut back growth to (say) six inches. I have two plants from the Bolivean type as well in the same condition. Fibrous types are being grown from seed.

My double tuberous begonias are now producing single blossoms. Flowers are healthy, color good, no droop. Too much shade? water? What do I do?
This is the case without fertilizing these heavy feeders properly.

I bought 5 begonia bulbs but only 1 has showing a shoot. Is it still too early to assume they are dud bulbs?
Tuberous begonias are slow to get going. Some gardeners start them inside in February to compensate since they can't be planted out until after the frost free date. Be patient and keep the soil damp but not wet. More care tips are in the linked article. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/begonia/tuberous-begonia-care.htm
My daughter has moved to her own apartment and is looking for some pretty hanging plants and likes bacopa. I have on Y ever grown it as an outdoor annual. Can she keep it indoors and how little mg would you expect the plant to last. With fertilizer would it re flower after a rest period if kept indoors? Same question re begonia
Both can be grown indoors with some care. These few articles will give you information on both of those, along with an article to suggest alternatives as well. All can be grown indoors as long as you provide the care that they require.

Someone stepped on my begonia a while ago and a big piece broke off so I put it in water and it's still alive and flowering (flowers changed colour recently but that's another story). Anyway they've been in that glass with water and a bit of earth for weeks now and there's not sign of roots... yet the piece is obviously not dying. What should I do? Can I just stick it back in my garden and water it a lot?
Pick those flowers off. Those will inhibit rooting. Also, I recommend crushing up an uncoated aspirin tablet into some warm water, and stirring as well as possible. Let this cool, and water it with the mix. This will force rooting much faster.
I have made many cuttings from my original plant which was given to me by a friend, now deceased. I am preparing to make cuttings to pot for my friend's granddaughters and would like to give them more information.
This is an Angel Wing Begonia.
