I bought 6 bare root banana trees. They were planted in good sun and partial shade. I used root stimulator. They've been in the ground about 4 weeks and I'm not seeing any growth, leaves etc. I've peeled back some of the Brown leaves and see the stock is greenish. Do I pull off all the Brown leaves? Must the soul be Always Moist? I'm buying mulch today. When or how long will it be till I see leaves? Do I need to cut off the Brown tough tops? I'm at a total loss.
This article will help you with the planting and care requirements.

This is our second Spring that our Hardy Banana has come back. The main trunk doesn't look good but many new shoots are strong and tall. Should we not care about the main part and concentrate on the off shoots? We have taken a few shoots off the main part and re-planted. They are doing well. Any answers would be great
This is quite common and you can concentrate on your new off shoots.

If I were to dry banana peelings grind them in blender. Would it be a source of phosphorus fertilizer for my garden? If so should it be on my banana plants only or may I put on my other plants: hibiscus, guava, plumeria, english ivy, kumkuat, spider plants rosemary, suculents, canan or geraniums? thank you
I found this article that will help you with this project.

The tree has grown fast and really well, new leaves unfolding all the time, but the lower and oldest of the leaves are black around outer edges and wilting. I've checked for pests. Trimmed bad leaves for mulch. Do I have a drainage issue? The last picture is one of the earliest. There's also a baby tree already growing in front, although it's too small to see. Thanks for your help.
I do believe this to be Black Sigatoka Disease.

I am making an outdoor bed to be ready in the spring so I can plant some banana plants. I live in Zone 8 and have a clay soil. Bananas will be a new endeavor for me and I need to get started on the right foot. Can you tell the correct soil the banana should be planted in? Thanks for any help.
These are good articles that I had already read. I only see where it says to use a moist, well drained soil. Which soil or mix do I need to purchase.
